What's in the apple crumble cake?
To make crumbly apple pie, you'll first need to create a crumbly mixture using brown sugar, butter, flour, and cinnamon.
Then you need to bake the cake, this one is easy. Flour, baking soda, salt, brown spice, brown sugar, and eggs make the most of this recipe. The sour cream provides moisture, and the creamy texture and fresh apples on the cake are the highlights.
While we like to fold diced apples into the batter, some people prefer apples on top of the pie, and that's okay. In this case, mix the apples with brown sugar and cinnamon and place them on the cake before baking. Top the apples with breadcrumbs and get the best of both worlds!
